Designed for a young family in Rancho Santa Fe, this home blends effortless California living with refined, family-friendly design. Our goal was to create a welcoming space that feels both elevated and deeply livable—where children and dogs are just as at home as the adults.
Originally designed in 1928 by renowned architect Lilian Rice, this historic Rancho Santa Fe residence was thoughtfully reimagined to honor its architectural heritage while embracing modern living. The transformation balances preservation with refined, livable design, bringing new life to a distinctive Southern California home.
